4:44 p.m. Sugarland will kick off the afternoon in the Taco Bell Teal confines of the MGM Grand’s Garden Arena as soon as they get here. 4:50 The backing track to “What I’d Give” starts playing, and right on cue, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush walk down the aisle. Because I do not have any journalistic objectivity when it comes to this band, I am not even going to bother trying — though I’m super psyched they’re doing this song instead of “It Happens,” which is not my favorite thing ever. There are these weird lights on the stage that look a bit like the kind that hang in gyms, or mental asylums. I smell impending theatricality. Though if the lights are it, that’s fine: I actually feared there would be Cirque du Soleil. And Cirque du Soleil TERRIFIES ME. Click Here to Read the Rest of the Story

Hi Everyone,
I found an article on the Sugarland show in Germany from this past weekend. It sounds like they did a great job at entertaining the troops. Good for them! Here is a snippet from the article:
Before the performance Jennifer Nettles expressed her sincerest thanks to all the men and women in the armed forces. “Thank you, thank you, thank you, for what you do and for what your families do both here and back at home,” said Jennifer Nettles. “While we don’t necessarily understand the sacrifices you make and the gravity of them; we do understand what it’s like to be away from home, and we hope our performance helps bring a piece of that to them.” Click Here to Read the Rest of the Article

Sugarland Plays the UK and gets the opportunity to go to Abbey Road studios, walk accross the street in their bare feet reminiscent of the beatles album cover, and re-record a beatles song the 30th anniversary of the the Bealtes Abbey Road.

Hi Everyone,
Sugarland played their first live show in Paris, France on March 10th. I understand it was a very intimate concert that consisted of about 300 fans. What an awesome opportunity to see Sugarland in such a tiny and intimate venue. Jennifer Nettles has her voice back and sounds as wonderful as ever after cancelling a couple of dates due to illness.
One of the lucky few who got to attend to show captured about 15 videos from the show at the Showcase in Paris
