Sugarland’s First Single: Stuck Like Glue July 26th 2010

Hey Everybody,

Sugarland’s Incredible Machine….Latest Record Coming out October 19th!  We’ve heard the Incredible Machine, Wide Open, Find the Beat and Stand Up live in concert.  I know you all can’t wait to hear Stuck Like Glue.  They kind were kind of sneaky with that first single.  I have seen Sugarland on 2 stops on the Incredible Machine Tour and I love their new sound and the direction that they are taking their music.  They are definitely high energy for the entire show.   I can honestly say that this is the best show they are putting on to date and that is saying a lot!    If you have not seen them get prepared to be blown away with the stage, lights, energy and pure talent.  Here is and excerpt from the the press release about the new record:

Multi Grammy award-winning Mercury Nashville country duo Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland will debut their highly-anticipated fourth studio album The Incredible Machine October 19. Nettles and Bush co-wrote the entire record and co-produced with Byron Gallimore. Lead off single “Stuck Like Glue”, written by Nettles, Bush, Kevin Griffin and Shy Carter, goes to radio July 26.  Click Here to Read the Rest of the Story

Hey I found a great interview with Annie Clements at Fender.com This is a great interview with a lot of info
that I did not previously know about Annie. Here is a snippet of the article:

When Fender bassist Annie Clements first received a phone call and audition invite from Kristian Bush of Sugarland back in February 2006, the only song the former member of the southern blues rock band Son of Williams had for a reference point was Jennifer Nettles’ “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” duet with Bon Jovi.

Not much of a country music listener, yet armed with a vague sense that the audition could lead to something big, Clements headed to Best Buy to pick up Sugarland’s album and figure out the three songs Bush had requested she learn.
